AlMg3 (EN AW-5754)

AlMg3 is the most commonly used alloy for stamped parts in marine environments and wherever seawater resistance is required. Good formability, medium strength and excellent corrosion resistance make this alloy a universal solution.

  • Seawater-resistant – ideal for outdoor applications
  • Good cold formability
  • Weldable (MIG/WIG)
  • Material thickness: 0.2 – 10 mm
  • Applications: automotive, shipbuilding, facades

Heat-treatable

AlMgSi (EN AW-6060 / 6082)

The AlMgSi alloys can be heat-treated to achieve significantly higher strength. They are the first choice for structural components in mechanical engineering and automotive technology.

  • Heat-treatable – high strength after heat treatment
  • Good surface quality
  • Anodizable (anodizing)
  • Material thickness: 0.5 – 8 mm
  • Applications: mechanical engineering, automotive, construction

Pure Aluminum (EN AW-1050)

Pure aluminum is distinguished by the highest electrical and thermal conductivity. It is particularly soft and can be formed excellently – ideal for deep drawn parts and electrical applications.

  • Highest conductivity (62% IACS)
  • Excellent formability
  • Corrosion resistant
  • Material thickness: 0.2 – 6 mm
  • Applications: electrical, heat exchangers, reflectors
